A one day 'reset' that brings trustees, staff teams and volunteers together to promote a healthy Board, engage your team and co-create your strategy for the future.
Why it matters:
Charities thrive on purpose and impact, but it's vital that they are governed effectively with a strong Board of engaged, skilled Trustees who are up to date with the law and know how to maintain a compliant organisation. For the Charity Commission, ignorance is not a defense - you are expected to be up to date with changing compliance and regulatory standards.
An engaged and passionate team are vital to ensuring that the 'Golden Thread' of your vision, mission and values are at the heart of everything they do. This is what separates a good charity from a great charity. Engaging your team in developing and inputting into future strategy - after all, your people are the ones who are 'on the ground', they are often the ones who have the best ideas.
There are two ways to work together:
1. The Board Reset (half day)
2. The Charity Reset (full day)
For Trustee Boards who want to clarify duties, recognise and close governance gaps and strengthen confidence in their legal and moral responsibilities.
A morning session with the Board as above, then a full team session to share ideas, come together as a team and work together on creating a strategy for the next 3 - 5 years.
